It’s summer and here’s some important information!
In my state, it’s illegal to turn off the electricity of a household with a disabled person.
But you have to file the paperwork and doctor’s note and it helps to do that before receiving a shut off notice
A lot of us are poor. A lot of us will face our electricity bill being overdue. I know I have more than once.
I know my state gets hotter than others, but I suggest you check with your local electric company to see if any such provisions exist.
Being without electricity in the summer could be deadly for me and many others.
(Pretty sure the same exists for those worried about heat in the winter)
