post sburb hangouts: jane reads detective pony out loud. other people join in as other characters. dave has to play dirk because dirk is trying to die of embarrassment in the corner. rose is taking notes on his mental state. its the best group activity theyve done in ages
- Jane plays narrator in general, but when Dirk takes over the narration she puts on a pair of sunglasses and a mustache and speaks in a completely different voice. Everyone is awed by her disguise.
- When they get to the longcat interlude, Jane gives up temporarily because she’s laughing so hard, and instead they pass the book around in a circle with each person reading one sentence, or a paragraph if they could manage.

- Rose has a blast playing Jeanne Betancourt and looking significantly at Dirk the whole time.
- Roxy legit uses her void powers to make ridiculously elaborate props and scenery for the Brandy vs. Dar Crandal showdown.
- Dirk crawls into the ground and never emerges.
@janecrockerofficial have you read the fic this post is about? It definitely has some flaws, but it’s amazing.
