so everyone starts to get settled in on new earth and dirk is of course keeping his workout routine up to snuff so he goes jogging like every day. and eventually he comes across this stray cat and like he starts seeing the thing every day and it’s all scruffy and alone and it’s never seen a human before so it’s not skittish and honestly is a ferocious little thing. anyways dirk is like. “cat. you are tiny and skinny” so he starts bringing it a little food. and then one day its like sleeting and awful (dirk will not cancel his jog for anything short of a fucking monsoon) and the kitten is. miserable. so dirk is like. must protect. and he takes it home
anyways fast forward a few days and he desperately texts roxy because kitty is asleep on his lap and he cant bring himself to kick it off and he needs to get up. and roxy is like. welcome to the life of a cat owner dude
anyways like 4 months later the cat is really fat and dirk loves it to bits. he names it logos
