its my au! the premise is dave is elle and karkat is emmett (this is based off the musical, theyre mostly the same but i like to imagine them singing the songs)

it’s slightly changed, because dave isnt super privileged and going to chase some guy, he’s actually trying to get away from bro and prove he can turn out better than him. he gets upset when he finds out that lawyers are actually shitty morally bankrupt people and dont want to help the underdog. karkat is a TA who gets annoyed by dave right away (dave makes fun of his sweater vest) and ends up helping dave when dave gets kicked out of class for “not taking it seriously”
